This print comes from a series of portraits depicting the tiny, beautiful northern saw-whet owl. This owl species lives primarily in coniferous forests across northern North America, and has become the symbolic face of wildlife conservation efforts and debates over forest management policy throughout the United States. This little guy wears a crown of mouse bones, juniper and old man’s beard.
7"x7" with a printed area of 5"x5." High density, archival inks are printed onto beautiful, heavy weight Hahnemuhle photo rag paper, creating a long lasting, fade resistant print.
